Halogen H4 housings are the hardest to upgrade well. The reflector was designed for a filament, so a bare LED chip often throws light in the wrong places. The T09 solves that by keeping a projector lens inside the standard H4 base, which shapes the beam before it leaves the housing.

T09 H4 with integrated projector lens
Why a lens inside an H4 base
A projector lens does two things a reflector cannot: it cuts a defined low-beam edge, and it keeps the high beam inside the same optical axis. For a buyer shipping into markets with periodic inspection, that matters more than the lumen number on the box.

Fitting notes
The T09 is a direct replacement on H4 sockets, but two checks avoid most returns. First, confirm the housing has at least 35 mm of clearance behind the bulb for the fan. Second, on vehicles with a CANBUS monitoring circuit, add a 6 ohm decoder if the dashboard reports a bulb error.
For buyers comparing the T09 against a bare-chip bulb: the lens costs a little more per pair, and it removes the alignment complaints that usually come back in the first container.
